Congrats John Edgar! Super inspiring story, but not surprising, at least not to me. Although I haven't met Reilly yet, I remember how inspiring, motivating and just plain fun meetings with Miranda at work had been. These meetings, of course, had everything to do with photography and almost nothing to do with the call centre we worked in.

John Edgar has great story, but I know there are so many more out there you haven't yet heard. I think you'd be surprised the affect you can have on people.

Congrats again John, good luck!

I STUPIDLY read my google reader today at work on my lunch break, and saw this and started to ball, lol.. My boss was like "erm, you ok?" So I explained the whole story to her.

You are such an amazing friend, both of you, I genuinely love you both to bits... you are amazing people and amazing artists and I've learned and grown so much from you.

I'm gonna kick butt in this industry, and I will always attribute my successes to you and your support. Thank you again.

Ahhhh - what a great post! Making a difference - it sounds cheesy but it's so important! And even though this story is about John, it says so much about you guys - your compassion and kindness and willingness to take a chance (not to mention your online habits LOL!).
