Eeeee!

I’m always so in love when I meet the little ones of past brides & grooms, and meeting Mikayla was no different. I didn’t want to put her down, but I’m glad I eventually let go as I’m so in love with these gorgeous images of her with Mom & Dad!

J’adore!

I may possibly be the worst blogger ever this month, but I vow to change it. There’s so much I want you guys to see! We’ve been shooting like crazy and are well into a jam packed wedding season.

And – on the topic of weddings – while it’s not possible for us to be at more than one wedding per day, booking a wedding portrait session for after the big day is the perfect way to get Blue Olive images on the walls regardless of where or when the actual event takes place. I love these sessions because it’s a good reason to get dressed up again and we don’t have the fixed deadline of a reception to get to!

Mike & Mayu are off on all sorts of crazy new adventures as a married couple, but before they left town we got to head out for some gorgeous portraits taking full advantage of the evening light. Love it!

With the wedding fast approaching (barely 2 weeks away now!) we headed to Granville Island to shoot the engagement images that will make up Navrup & Garrick’s guestbook on the wedding day.

I love shooting at Granville Island simply because with so many different buildings and streets we can shoot there over and over again and never get bored! And of course, these two are complete naturals behind the lens making our job forever easy. Can’t wait to see what the wedding day holds!

See you guys oh so soon!

So much of what we do never sees the blog, so I wanted to take a quick time out to share some of our recent headshots!

Ms. Marvel got in touch when planning the birthday of all birthdays for Captain America. They were planning to be in Vancouver from their home in New York and a night on the town starting with a saucy photo session for two in a posh hotel room was just what she had in mind.

Of course, we can’t give away all their secrets – superheroes have to stay mysterious, of course. Here’s just a sneak peak of their session
