Rachel and Alf are getting married in June, shortly after we get back! They are super sweet and ultra cute, and we are really looking forward to seeing them again for their wedding.
We met up in the rain the other day for a few engagement photos. The rain didn’t stop any of us though… here are just a few of our favs so far!
Granville Island is such an awesome location simply because there are so many different ways and places to shoot! No two sessions are ever the same.
This shoot was a blast, starting with lunch right through to sneaking photos in Sybel’s parent’s candy shop to getting to meet Rambo the dog. Their Sutton Place wedding in July is definitely one to look forward to. Can’t wait!
And - of course - Reilly needed to scratch his climbing bug, so I’ve thrown 2 shots in from his vantage point up a tree 
We met up with Vicky & Dave over the weekend for their engagement photos. We completely lucked out with spectacular skies! We chased the sun around for a while and captured some great stuff with the city lit behind them in addition to hitting the beach and a couple urban spots. Love it!
Some of my fav images were for a project for the wedding, but I’m keeping those ones hush hush so the guests will be the first to see them. I’ll share those after the wedding in June

My favourite images were those with the car. As we are all VW fans we got along famously, and the car just couldn’t be left out.

Jen and Neil are getting married in March in Tofino - our very favourite place to shoot. Yesterday we headed out to Granville Island for their engagement shots. If their session yesterday was any indication, we cannot WAIT for their wedding, it’s going to be a tonne of fun and yield some stellar images!

Heather & Justin are getting married at the end of September at Dundarave Pier in West Vancouver. We headed out a few days ago to Granville Island to capture their engagement images.
I don’t remember the last time I was on a tire swing, but I think the next time will have to be sooner rather than later judging by the laughter coming out of these two!

Vanessa and Nino were married last Saturday after being together - and waiting for this day - for over 9 years. Congratulations again, guys!

Tara & Eddie are getting married in just under 2 months and we took advantage of one of the recent sunny days to do their engagement photos!
When we planned their engagement session we decided on “rain or shine” - the day was the best for their schedule, and really, what’s a little rain for Vancouver?
So, naturally, we had rain - and LOTS of it. That said, we had two incredibly in love people and it wouldn’t have mattered what the weather was doing. As they live nearby, we spent time this evening with them wandering around Granville Island. We got some great stuff, and I think the rain only prompted us to work a little harder as we had an extra element to consider for each shot!
We’re looking forward to the wedding in October, guys, and we can’t wait to share the rest of the images!
Andrew & Sara have settled on the month of April for their wedding, and if it’s anything like Andrew’s brother’s wedding earlier this year it’s going to be a fantastic time! These guys are just so much fun and so easy going, I’m looking forward to their wedding already.
