Natasha & Scott were married on Sunday among friends and family at Hycroft, the University Women’s Club of Vancouver. An event expertly pulled together by the ladies over at Fuego Events, the wedding was the perfect mix of upscale class and a relaxed schedule with the only real listing on the agenda being to get married. The site was the perfect backdrop for everyone to mingle and enjoy the company!

Jennifer and Colin kicked off the August long weekend with their wedding yesterday at the Brock House.
The weather was perfect and the sunset went on and on! Here are a few of our favourite shots so far -

Kudos to the teams from Countdown Events, Flower Factory, Diana’s Dreamcakes, and WKR designs for all they did to make the day go off without a hitch!

On Saturday Sandy & Wes were married! The bouncy castle (yes, bouncy castle!) unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the rain, but despite the forecast the rain held off for most of the afternoon allowing us to head out to Iona Beach for some photos before the evening ceremony, which was a treat. Here’s Sandy out on the beach -

And again before the ceremony, with her bridesmaids at the Hart House

Married!!

Amazing flowers, decor, and cake

The Hart House at night

And the first dance - proof that these two didn’t let the rain outside get them down! We’ve never seen a crowd with more amazing dancers than these two had, and the night was kicked off by a well rehearsed number by the bride & groom.

Sandy & Wes are already well on their way to South Africa for their honeymoon. Congrats again, guys, we’ll see you when you get back!
Kudos to the team at Hart House for the location and amazing food, Unique Boutique for gorgeous flowers and decor, and Cakewalk for the cake and cupcakes! Together you guys put on one heck of a gorgeous wedding!

Tara and Eddie tied the knot on Sunday at the Celebration Pavilion in Queen E Park. After, we headed to the beach at Stanley Park for some pictures before arriving at the Heritage Hall for the reception. A quick walk around the block and into the alleys with the newlyweds completed our photo session that day! We had such a great time with them and their bridal party, and the reception was full of touching speeches, lots of laughter and dancing, and the warmth of so many friends and family. What a way to celebrate Canada Day!

Cheryl & Corey came to Vancouver this weekend from their home in San Francisco for their wedding! The Pan Pacific was the perfect backdrop for their reception following their church ceremony and pictures in a park, on the beach, and in Coal Harbour.
There were so many unique details that I haven’t even touched on sharing here - gorgeous flowers and decor, a lion dance for an entrance, a tea ceremony, Filipino dancers, the list goes on! I couldn’t decide which images to share, but I settled on a few and will leave the best for the highlights slideshow to come
Congratulations again, guys!

Sahar & Chris were married on Saturday at the new Celebration Pavilion in Queen Elizabeth park, and they held their reception there at Seasons Restaurant.
Sahar was the perfect classic bride - I loved how she had her hair done and her dresses (one for the day, and one to dance in!) were classic and gorgeous to match!
They chose for their photos to be of just them which afforded us lots of time to drive around the city with their classic Rolls Royce grabbing photos wherever we went.
A few minutes after their first look, here they are on the couch in their new home by UBC

And again, with the car near Jericho beach

A few of the gorgeous reception details

I really loved that they used stones for their guestbook, allowing guests to write well wishes with a permanent gold marker. These are fantastic as they can be displayed in so many ways and in so many places in their home, and will be enjoyed I think more than a book that seldom gets opened.
Also, they chose to decorate their tables with the simple flower arrangements shown but more importantly with pictures they had taken from their many overseas trips to the countries featured on each one. Family and friends at the table were able to look through the photos and share the stories they had heard from the couple about each trip, and guests were encouraged to take any pictures that they really enjoyed.
And finally, getting to know both Sahar and Chris we really got to see the fun loving spirit they share. On that note, I think that this non traditional cake feeding shot shows a tonne of personality!

Congratulations again, guys! It was an honour to celebrate with you. See you after your honeymoon!

On Saturday Jose & Kristin tied the knot above the city in the garden terrace of the Coast Plaza Hotel in downtown Vancouver. The sun beat down and the bubbles flew, and after they enjoyed champagne with their guests we headed out to play in the sun in the hidden nooks and crannies of Stanley Park.
Congratulations, Jose & Kristin, we hope you have an amazing time in Columbia and we’ll see you when you get back!
I love this shot - Kristin getting into her dress

And here she is again, looking down on the ceremony site just minutes before she walked down the aisle

And our groom, Jose, as proof that pink is not just for the girls

On Saturday we photographed the 14 hour marathon wedding of Roger and Janette! We started first thing in the morning for the getting ready and spent the day with them as they got married, enjoyed two tea ceremonies, headed out for photos with us, and finally as they danced the night away at their reception!
Have a fabulous cruise, guys, and have a glass of wine for us as you’re sailing through the Mediterranean next week!

Lisa & Brian were married this past Saturday. In the backyard of the family home, they along with 20 of their closest friends and family gathered to celebrate!
The rain didn’t stop the outdoor wedding, complete with a flower-lined aisle
