On Saturday we photographed the 14 hour marathon wedding of Roger and Janette! We started first thing in the morning for the getting ready and spent the day with them as they got married, enjoyed two tea ceremonies, headed out for photos with us, and finally as they danced the night away at their reception!
Have a fabulous cruise, guys, and have a glass of wine for us as you’re sailing through the Mediterranean next week!

This was one of my most anticipated weddings, and it truly did not dissapoint. Between the dress, the amazing vintage hat, and the venues chosen for their character and age, this wedding was all about class!
Christina and her parents - look at those expressions, they were so proud of her! - as they walk down the aisle

Christina & Mounir sneak another kiss just after leaving the church, as the bridal party follows behind them

After waving good bye to their guests, they share a toast on the way to the reception

And finally, a night shot of the Macaroni Grill - the reception venue of choice

Congrats again guys! Have an AMAZING time in Africa, and we’ll see you when you get back!

We were honoured on Saturday to attend the most beautifully classic wedding of two completely in love people. Rather than dive into the craziness that often follows typical wedding planning, these two chose to elope and to spend their day focussed on the most important part of marriage - eachother.
I have so many photos I am dying to share, but I need to keep these anonymous for now so I’m going to tease you with a couple of the details instead. Once the marriage has been announced to all their family and friends I’ll be sure to share more!

What a productive weekend! 2 weddings out to clients and 2 album layouts ready to be looked over.
This was another fabulous wedding. We had lots of time for photography so were able to get out of town to an old farmstead to take advantage of the colours in the buildings and that great big blue sky!
Cheryl found herself feeling poorly on her wedding day, but by the time she got her dress on all she could do was smile! Here she is in her limo just before heading into the church, and again just getting out. Such a gorgeous bride!

Doves! This was our first wedding where the couple released doves in celebration of their marriage. So many amazing photos! For the second shot here, after moving to the coast I’m going to miss the endless prairie skies. I am looking forward to finding all sorts of new hidden locations for the perfect photos, though!
