Aimee and Sabrina travelled with their close family and friends from California to Tofino for their destination wedding this week. They were married on the beach and we went for a long walk thanks to the low tide for their photo session where we were able to capture some gorgeous images of these two ladies. Congratulations again to you both, and we hope you enjoyed your week in Tofino!

Keith and Julie chose Bodega Ridge Lodge on Galiano Island as their perfect wedding destination. Avid cyclists and kayakers, the island was close enough to home yet still felt a million miles away and provided plenty of opportunities for both sports.
Here are a few of our favourite shots so far!

On Saturday we photographed the 14 hour marathon wedding of Roger and Janette! We started first thing in the morning for the getting ready and spent the day with them as they got married, enjoyed two tea ceremonies, headed out for photos with us, and finally as they danced the night away at their reception!
Have a fabulous cruise, guys, and have a glass of wine for us as you’re sailing through the Mediterranean next week!

On Sunday we had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of Andrew & Sara. We met these two at Andrew’s brother Chris’ wedding which we photographed last year, and have definitely been looking forward to seeing everyone again. We knew that we were going to have a great time as these are two of the most laid back, down to earth people I know and they along with their friends can keep a whole room laughing and having a spectacular time - and that’s just what they did.
The wedding was out in Langley and Reilly and I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect photo location before hand, and we found it. Those who know me know that I have a HUGE thing for great dynamic and stormy skies - they are one of the things that I miss the most about the prairies. So, needless to say, we were both really excited as we realized we were going to have what I call perfect skies for our photo session.
Here are a few of our favourites so far!

When we planned their engagement session we decided on “rain or shine” - the day was the best for their schedule, and really, what’s a little rain for Vancouver?
So, naturally, we had rain - and LOTS of it. That said, we had two incredibly in love people and it wouldn’t have mattered what the weather was doing. As they live nearby, we spent time this evening with them wandering around Granville Island. We got some great stuff, and I think the rain only prompted us to work a little harder as we had an extra element to consider for each shot!
We’re looking forward to the wedding in October, guys, and we can’t wait to share the rest of the images!

Lisa & Brian were married this past Saturday. In the backyard of the family home, they along with 20 of their closest friends and family gathered to celebrate!
The rain didn’t stop the outdoor wedding, complete with a flower-lined aisle

This was one of my most anticipated weddings, and it truly did not dissapoint. Between the dress, the amazing vintage hat, and the venues chosen for their character and age, this wedding was all about class!
Christina and her parents - look at those expressions, they were so proud of her! - as they walk down the aisle

Christina & Mounir sneak another kiss just after leaving the church, as the bridal party follows behind them

After waving good bye to their guests, they share a toast on the way to the reception

And finally, a night shot of the Macaroni Grill - the reception venue of choice

Congrats again guys! Have an AMAZING time in Africa, and we’ll see you when you get back!

Earlier this month we did the engagement shoot of Lisa and Brian in advance of their March wedding. Way too much fun! We ran around Yaletown in the rain, looking for various nooks and crannies to capture the fun that these two were having all on their own. Here are a couple of our fav images - this will definitely be a wedding full of smiles and laughter, and we can’t wait!
