Vivienne & Anthony tied the knot in May complete with a church wedding, gorgeous photo session weather, and a reception at Kirin restaurant.

I especially love the pink flower accents and the cute bridesmaid dresses. And – as is always one of my favourite things – we got to see past clients Kat & Dave who sent these guys our way!

Cheers everyone!

And of course, a shout out to Shari who shot this one with Reilly! I frequently have to pinch myself over how lucky we are to have such incredible talent on board. Cheers!

I’m pretty sure I could go on and on and on with these photos, but I decided to pick out just a few focussing on the photo session for these guys. (Oh nevermind – can’t do it. Jump over to their highlights slideshow to see more!)

When Renee & Cameron got in touch saying they were friends with Stef & Kevin, we knew instantly we were going to love them – and we did!

Their wedding was full of unique and quirky elements, and for their photo session we needed something to match – and after a couple of hours driving to every corner of the city we could find, we found the perfect spots. The sky was GORGEOUS that day which made it all that much better and the perfect photo session was born! We have an album in the studio with some of our favorite images so definitely check it out if you come in to meet with us.

ANYWAYS – Renee & Cameron, we <3 you. Reilly and Tamara had a blast on the day, and I’m still having fun planning what to do with your images (at least one will grace the walls of the new studio when we hang new stuff).

Cheers!

There’s little I love more as far as wedding traditions go than the sheer hilarity of traditional Chinese door games! What other time do the girls get to totally humiliate the guys, and truly get away with it? The stuff we see during this part of the day never ceases to amaze and entertain us, and the photos are simply priceless. Love it.

Iris & Zeph – along with their entourage of willing bridesmaids & groomsmen – spent their day with Reilly & Tamara at St. Augustines followed by their photo session and reception at the Marriott Pinnacle in Vancouver.

We just got their album selections this week so we’re excited about pulling this one together – I still don’t know how we’ll narrow everything down. Such a fun day! Cheers you guys!

The Burnaby Village Museum was the perfect backdrop for Susan & Raj’s fall wedding.

Following the ceremony was a photo session for two at Canada Place – the perfect setting as it’s where Raj’s ship came in when he first came to Vancouver and where they met for the very first time. The sun was shining and the day was gorgeous…. it couldn’t have been more perfect!

Shouts out to Jeanie for second shooting. And, without further adieu, a few of our favorite shots!

Sharon & Michael’s Bethany Baptist Church wedding and Kirin at Starlight reception was the kind of wedding that dreams are made of… Sharon was elegant in each of her many outfits, Michael didn’t stop smiling, and the guests were in for a treat.

The traditional tea ceremonies and multiple outfits both traditional and not were offset by a reception venue outfitted in gorgeous, rich colours (which I love not just because they match the red and turquoise of Blue Olive ;) and a group of family and friends ready to just enjoy themselves. Perfect!

Oasis flowers, Proline trading, Indulgence desserts, and Upright Decor for the rentals came together to round out the team. On the Blue Olive side, Mandy did a fantastic job second shooting.

Cheers!
