With the wedding fast approaching (barely 2 weeks away now!) we headed to Granville Island to shoot the engagement images that will make up Navrup & Garrick’s guestbook on the wedding day.

I love shooting at Granville Island simply because with so many different buildings and streets we can shoot there over and over again and never get bored! And of course, these two are complete naturals behind the lens making our job forever easy. Can’t wait to see what the wedding day holds!

See you guys oh so soon!

How much fun are these two?!

We met up with Heidi and her husband Adrian for a couples session at Granville Island on one of the many gorgeous sunny days we’ve had so far this spring. We are photographing Heidi’s sister’s wedding in September so it was a blast to spend time with these guys knowing we’ll be seeing them again in a few months.

Cheers!

C&J planned their wedding from afar, bringing family and friends together in Vancouver for their winter wedding.

Not to be at all swayed by the cold, however, C, J and their entourage rocked their photo session like a sunny summer day! The Chapel at Stanley Park held the ceremony followed by a reception at the Teahouse with stops at Granville Island, the beach, and a few other locations for photos.

We’ve been having fun putting the finishing touches on this album – I always love seeing everything in print and book form – so that’s exciting and  we look forward to having that in our hands soon. Shouts out as well to Tracey who joined Reilly for the Blue Olive side of things, and a nod as well to Paula at Aeyra for the cake (her cakes are always gorgeous and delicious, truly a winning combination ;).

Margo & Sherwin had a wedding that was way too much fun. How can you not laugh with these girls? Their photos are a treat to go through because everyone is smiling and laughing throughout, which is contagious, even through the pictures!

Granville Island hotel set the stage for getting ready and Bridges restaurant ended up being both the ceremony and reception location. DIY details rounded out the day and a trash the dress session to end all trash sessions followed in the afternoon. Vendor cred goes to Unique Boutique, Cupcakes, Chocolate Arts, Etsy.com, and Joyas.ca to name a few.

Shout out to Jenn for second shooting. These girls will be back in the blog later this year, but for now, enjoy!

Rachel and Alf are getting married in June, shortly after we get back! They are super sweet and ultra cute, and we are really looking forward to seeing them again for their wedding.

We met up in the rain the other day for a few engagement photos. The rain didn’t stop any of us though… here are just a few of our favs so far!
