Some weddings are simply perfect… from the perfect blue skied day, to the perfect dress…. to the perfect evening for a reception overlooking the water. Simply, perfect.

Rachel & Greg chose Granville Island to tie the knot, opting for the ocean, mountains, and city as the backdrop to their marriage. Perfect blue sky and rare white fluffy clouds were confirmation it was exactly the right choice… the location was stunning! Bridges Restaurant hosted the reception with views of the water and city and a gorgeous sunset to cap off the night.

Rachel’s Manuel Mendoza dress was simply gorgeous, and with Marilyn Knipp performing the ceremony, Sweet Beginnings in charge of Decor, Mark from Absolute Entertainment along for the ride, Tracey on the Blue Olive team, and Evan – Flowerz – behind the florals it was a pretty fantastic team of vendors behind the scene to boot.

Love love!

The Royal Vancouver Yacht club at Jericho served as the stage for Erin & Paul’s summer wedding. Such a great venue with the view of the water, we were even granted a light show with lightening in addition to fireworks!

A pile of great vendors came together for this one – Erin Bishop from Dreamgroup (always a treat!), Manuel Mendoza for the bride’s gown and groom’s suit and JA Coutier for the bridesmaids. The cake was made by Paul’s dad and decorated by Erin’s mom which was a great touch. Flowers done by Granville Island Florist and Decor by Colin at Upright Decor. And of course, Soulstream for the band and all photographed by Reilly & Tamara for the Blue Olive troup.

Another referral from past clients, it was great to see you guys Keith & Julie!

Congrats again to you both Erin & Paul! Cheers!

When the first thing you hear when meeting with new clients is “If we wanted to cliff dive in cheesy wedding outfits for our engagement session, are you game?” – you know things are going to be nothing but fun!

Colin & Jacqui chose Canadian Memorial Church followed by the ever classic Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club as the backdrop to their wedding day this fall.

Tamara second shot for us and vendors including Manuel Mendoza for the gown, Sweet Obsessions for the cake, and Coveted Covers for the decor came together to put on their wonderfully elegant event.

Cheers to you both!
