I always give a lot of credit to couples who are able to pull together all the wedding details remotely – in this case, Daphne & John travelled to Vancouver from their home in Virginia for their wedding.

Cecil Green was the reception venue of choice, and between the venue and their great team of wedding vendors, it’s no surprise that they were able to pull everything off without a hitch! They were treated to a truly gorgeous day with so many loving family and friends who joined them to celebrate. As we are designing the album now I can’t help but smile and laugh right along with everyone – cheers to you guys!

Lots of vendor shout outs here – Tamara joined Reilly for the Blue Olive Team, The Finer Details was responsible for coordination, A Unique Boutique did the flowers and rentals, Hot Wax took care of the music, and True Confections made the delicious cake.

Margo & Sherwin had a wedding that was way too much fun. How can you not laugh with these girls? Their photos are a treat to go through because everyone is smiling and laughing throughout, which is contagious, even through the pictures!

Granville Island hotel set the stage for getting ready and Bridges restaurant ended up being both the ceremony and reception location. DIY details rounded out the day and a trash the dress session to end all trash sessions followed in the afternoon. Vendor cred goes to Unique Boutique, Cupcakes, Chocolate Arts, Etsy.com, and Joyas.ca to name a few.

Shout out to Jenn for second shooting. These girls will be back in the blog later this year, but for now, enjoy!

Pam & Dave chose St. Patrick’s Parish and the Law Courts Inn Restaurant for their wedding day. Full of laughter and with a huge nod to their Filipino culture (such as their surprise traditional dance!), the whole day was a lot of fun for everyone there.

The photo session took on an urban look with Gastown locations and a super good looking bridal party ;)

Enjoy the photos guys – chat soon!

False Creek Flowers, A Unique boutique, and Anna’s Cake House all played a huge part alongside my favourite detail of the day – Marble Slab Creamery was on site for wedding day ice cream treats! Jeanie also joined in under the Blue Olive hat to second shoot.

Cheers!

On Saturday Sandy & Wes were married! The bouncy castle (yes, bouncy castle!) unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the rain, but despite the forecast the rain held off for most of the afternoon allowing us to head out to Iona Beach for some photos before the evening ceremony, which was a treat. Here’s Sandy out on the beach -

And again before the ceremony, with her bridesmaids at the Hart House

And the first dance – proof that these two didn’t let the rain outside get them down! We’ve never seen a crowd with more amazing dancers than these two had, and the night was kicked off by a well rehearsed number by the bride & groom.

Sandy & Wes are already well on their way to South Africa for their honeymoon. Congrats again, guys, we’ll see you when you get back!

Kudos to the team at Hart House for the location and amazing food, Unique Boutique for gorgeous flowers and decor, and Cakewalk for the cake and cupcakes! Together you guys put on one heck of a gorgeous wedding!
