T&R’s Whistler Wedding

T&R were married in Whistler surrounded by close friends and family. I loved seeing how their faces would light up the second they looked toward eachother, and to say the day was magical would be an understatement!

The details set an incredible backdrop to the intimate wedding, with all the credit going to Sarah Shore and her team from Dreamgroup along with all the people at Upright Decor, Granville Island Florist, DJ Leanne, Greenscapes, Bearfoot Bistro, and the Uncommon Cake among others for a day that will be filled with incredible memories for this couple and those closest to them.

Amber & Jeff’s God’s Mountain Estate Wedding

What’s summer without a trip to wine country?!

The perfect summer evening amid the grape vines and fruit trees of the Okanagan set the tone for Amber & Jeff’s Penticton Wedding at God’s Mountain Estate. I don’t think you can get further away while being so close to home… driving through the gates to the estate was like being transferred to another place. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

This wedding was all about a weekend away with close family and friends, and that’s exactly what it was. Amber & Jeff are super laid back and easy going, and the wedding reflected that. Simple, beautiful, relaxed.

On the vendor side, Upright Decor provided rentals from Vancouver, DJ Leanne made the treck along with I Do Luv Weddings for video and of course Shari joined us for a Blue Olive Road Trip. Jeweliette made an appearance in the bride’s accessories and Britton Diamonds takes credit for the rings. From Penticton, Swimming Dragon made the cake with Lisa Yang responsible for flowers and Joy Road Catering behind the food. Whew!

Katrina & Dan’s Brix Wedding

Brix Restaurant in Yaletown is such a great spot – I love the warmth, the food, the feel… everything!

We definitely have two shooting modes – pure photojournalistic coverage (which is how we tackle the getting ready, ceremony, reception, and all the other parts where everyone’s got something to do!) and our portraits which can be as short as a 15 minute walk around the block (which is pretty much what we did here to get back to the party!) or as long as 3 hours with multiple locations… and regardless of how we tackle the day, we always end up with such a unique set of images that reflect the event. I love looking back over all the smiles, laughs, tears, and moments!

This day for Katrina & Dan was all about enjoying and celebrating with their closest family and friends. Great food, a great DJ, and all the time in the world. Love it!

Katrina got ready down the street at Opus with her girls before heading to her party. Nicole from Down the Aisle wedding coordination kept everything on schedule, with decor rentals from Upright Decor, gorgeous flowers from Evan at Flowerz, and Shari was on board with our team, of course.

Erin & Paul’s Royal Vancouver Yacht Club Wedding

The Royal Vancouver Yacht club at Jericho served as the stage for Erin & Paul’s summer wedding. Such a great venue with the view of the water, we were even granted a light show with lightening in addition to fireworks!

A pile of great vendors came together for this one – Erin Bishop from Dreamgroup (always a treat!), Manuel Mendoza for the bride’s gown and groom’s suit and JA Coutier for the bridesmaids. The cake was made by Paul’s dad and decorated by Erin’s mom which was a great touch. Flowers done by Granville Island Florist and Decor by Colin at Upright Decor. And of course, Soulstream for the band and all photographed by Reilly & Tamara for the Blue Olive troup.

Another referral from past clients, it was great to see you guys Keith & Julie!
