Tara and Ian are busy making plans for their destination wedding, and they got in touch with us to capture some engagement images in the process!
Tara and Ian are both so much fun – I love how playful they are together!
My favourite images were those with the car. As we are all VW fans we got along famously, and the car just couldn’t be left out.
Of course, Reilly also took the opportunity to climb something, so I’ll share yet another Reilly-climbing-things-to-get-the-shot pic!

I hooked up with Regi recently for some headshots – and I am so in love with all of them that I can’t decide which ones I like the most!
Regi is a stylist and image consultant and operates out of Jason David Hair Studio at 625 Howe downtown. Not only is she great at what she does, but she’s so much fun to be around that I look forward to getting my hair cut just to hang out with her! Kat & Dave have been busy planning their wedding for next July. They wanted to take advantage of the fall colours for their engagement portraits, so we headed out last week on what turned out to be a gorgeous fall day!

Minna & Justin are getting married early next year in a small, private ceremony. They wanted to get together this fall for some engagement photos after seeing the images we did for Minna’s sister Sandy & her new hubby Wes earlier this summer!
The rain and monsoon like winds changed our original plans, but we had a lot of fun seeking out great spots regardless. Here are a few of our favs!
Cinnamon & Galib were married last weekend! We joined them for 2 of the many days of festivities, capturing both the ceremony and lunch reception on Saturday and the let-down-and-party soiree at the Fairmont Airport on Sunday.

On Saturday we headed to the Beach House at Dundarave Pier for the wedding of Heather and Justin.
The weather didn’t cooperate, but Heather chose to keep the ceremony exactly where she wanted it – on the beach. And how gorgeous it was! The matching umbrellas they’d bought for just such a day were perfect

The rings – with just a few of the many wine glasses. Wine and great food were two of the biggest themes, with each of the food stations carefully paired with just the perfect wine.

And of course, the reception. Oh, the reception! Between the guys serenading Heather during the garter removal to the group performance of the Grease soundtrack, there’s no lack of great dancing and reception shots. Here are just a few to give a taste of the night!

Yan and Darian are getting married on Christmas Eve at the Fairmont Waterfront – and we are looking forward to one heck of a great wedding! We met up with them yesterday at their Yaletown apartment for some photos before walking around the library with some great late day sun.
