Terry & Preeti

Last Sunday we hopped an early ferry over to the island for Terry & Preeti’s Hatley Castle wedding at Royal Roads University.

There is so much to say and yet words don’t seem to do it, so I’ll let the images do the talking. Needless to say, it was an AMAZING location to work in and we were so glad to be there with such a fantastic couple!

Alexandra & Rob

We first met Alex & Rob last summer for their engagement session, and have been looking forward to their Furry Creek wedding since.

There were so many great details, my favourite being the dress that Alex made herself!

One of the perks of Furry Creek is that you get to cruise over to the first hole via golf cart to capture amazing images like this shot

And just one of many shots confirming that Alexandra looked like Audrey Hepburn on her wedding day!

Later this month we’ll be heading to the top of the world – well, the top of Grouse Mountain anyway – to celebrate the marriage of Alexa & Gary! I can’t wait to join them for a mountain top view of Vancouver as they tie the knot.

We headed out to Stanley Park for their engagement photos. Here are a couple of our favs!

Shawn & Eri

I love doing engagement sessions because they give us a chance to get to know our couples and to see them through our lens before the big day. For some people, it’s also an opportunity to work out any in-front-of-the-camera nerves and uneasiness in such a relaxed setting.

For some people… just not these two! From the first frame we captured this evening through to the end, Shawn & Eri photographed like models! It was so easy to see just how much in love they are and that came through crystal clear in the images. There are so many amazing shots! We had great evening light and Reilly and I just ate it up!

Normally I only post a couple from each engagement session, but tonight I just can’t decide. So, here are my 7 favourites so far –

Michelle & Charles

On Friday night we headed over to the Media Club for some engagement photos of Michelle & Charles! They originally met the night of a show there, so it was only fitting that they headed back to where it all began.

The first shot features my brand new scooter! Isn’t she pretty? Michelle & Charles look pretty hot, too 🙂

We’re really looking forward to their wedding next month, on the very best day of the year – our anniversary! I love that we get to witness their vows on the same day that we’ll be remembering our own. A perfect way to spend our anniversary afternoon!

Sandy & Wes

On Saturday Sandy & Wes were married! The bouncy castle (yes, bouncy castle!) unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the rain, but despite the forecast the rain held off for most of the afternoon allowing us to head out to Iona Beach for some photos before the evening ceremony, which was a treat. Here’s Sandy out on the beach –

And again before the ceremony, with her bridesmaids at the Hart House

And the first dance – proof that these two didn’t let the rain outside get them down! We’ve never seen a crowd with more amazing dancers than these two had, and the night was kicked off by a well rehearsed number by the bride & groom.

Sandy & Wes are already well on their way to South Africa for their honeymoon. Congrats again, guys, we’ll see you when you get back!

Kudos to the team at Hart House for the location and amazing food, Unique Boutique for gorgeous flowers and decor, and Cakewalk for the cake and cupcakes! Together you guys put on one heck of a gorgeous wedding!
