Due to a last minute cancellation we find ourselves available on 07/07/07. As one of the most popular dates this year we’re hoping to make one lucky couple’s day complete! Please contact us if you’re searching for a photographer for this hot date.
Cheers!
On Sunday we had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of Andrew & Sara. We met these two at Andrew’s brother Chris’ wedding which we photographed last year, and have definitely been looking forward to seeing everyone again. We knew that we were going to have a great time as these are two of the most laid back, down to earth people I know and they along with their friends can keep a whole room laughing and having a spectacular time – and that’s just what they did.
The wedding was out in Langley and Reilly and I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect photo location before hand, and we found it. Those who know me know that I have a HUGE thing for great dynamic and stormy skies – they are one of the things that I miss the most about the prairies. So, needless to say, we were both really excited as we realized we were going to have what I call perfect skies for our photo session.
Here are a few of our favourites so far!

I’ve spent the last week in Vegas with hundreds of amazing wedding photographers who travelled from around the world for the convention this year. It’s been a great week! So much inspiration and some great changes to come for us including some new products and some site tweaks. We can’t wait!
Earlier today 2 other photographers and I arranged the ultimate Vegas shoot – a trash the dress session at sunset in the desert. Here are a few of my favourite shots.
And yes, ladies, you too can look this hot!

When we planned their engagement session we decided on “rain or shine” – the day was the best for their schedule, and really, what’s a little rain for Vancouver?
So, naturally, we had rain – and LOTS of it. That said, we had two incredibly in love people and it wouldn’t have mattered what the weather was doing. As they live nearby, we spent time this evening with them wandering around Granville Island. We got some great stuff, and I think the rain only prompted us to work a little harder as we had an extra element to consider for each shot!
We’re looking forward to the wedding in October, guys, and we can’t wait to share the rest of the images!

Sandi and Kevin are having twins! It’s been a while since I had the privilege of photographing twins – and newborn twins are the best kind. I’ll look forward to sharing 2 sets of new fingers and toes in just a few weeks!
I recently went to their place to photograph a few maternity portraits. These were two of my favourites

Lisa & Brian were married this past Saturday. In the backyard of the family home, they along with 20 of their closest friends and family gathered to celebrate!

The funny thing about being a wedding photographer is that most people who hire us to document their day have never gone through the process of hiring a wedding photographer before – of course! – and therefore many people struggle with not knowing what questions to ask or how the whole process works.
A group of photographers from all across the globe recognized the gap and set out to develop the largest online resource to date of real information and answers by real wedding photographers for you.
I’m excited to direct you to the new site – designed to take some of the fog out of the process – at http://www.wedfog.com
Hit the “honest answers FAQ” for a pile of questions, and don’t miss all of the different sections over on the side detailing info relevant to all stages of the process.
Happy reading!
